Private Lesson Length & Pricing

Private lessons may be purchased individually or through a discounted punch card package.

Individual Private Lesson Rates

• 30 Minutes — $50

• 60 Minutes — $85

Families planning to schedule multiple private lessons may save by purchasing a private lesson punch card. Ask our Front Desk for current package options and pricing.

Choosing a Lesson Length

Private lessons are significantly different from a traditional group class. Because the instructor's attention is focused entirely on one dancer, dancers are actively engaged and receiving individualized feedback throughout the lesson. As a result, private lessons are often more physically and mentally demanding than a group class of the same length.

While every dancer is different, many younger dancers find that a 30-minute private lesson provides plenty of time for focused instruction and skill development.

Availability

Private Lessons are available when the studios are not in use for group classes. Typical availability would be before Fridays, Sundays, Saturday afternoons and M-Th before 5pm.

Private Lesson Payment & Cancellation Policy

Private lessons are scheduled specifically for your dancer and require dedicated instructor and studio time. To ensure fairness for both our families and faculty, the following policies apply:

Payment Policy

All private lessons must be paid in full prior to the start of the lesson. Payment may be made on a per-lesson basis or through the purchase of a private lesson punch card.

Cancellation Policy

If a dancer needs to cancel a scheduled private lesson, notice must be submitted to the Evolution Academy of Dance Front Desk via email or text message at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time.

• Cancellations received more than 24 hours in advance will not incur any fees.

• Cancellations received less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson, including no-shows, will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the standard private lesson rate.
